After a long period of inactivity, a new Constitution has been officially passed and has come into effect! Activity has finally returned to Ikonia, after a period of dormancy for 9 months.
The new Constitution consists of 6 articles:
Article 1: The Kingdom Article 2: Bill of sights Article 3: The Monarch(y) Article 4: Legislative Article 5: Judicial system Article 6: Final provisions
There have also been other changes: Three members of the Commoner Council have been removed from their duties due to inactivity, and the signing of the mutual recognition Treaty of Fayette between Ikonia, the New Richmond Republic, and the Confederation of the Northern Coast.
In other news, it is to be expected that His Majesty the King will soon release the annual Christmas honors list and address the nation with a Christmas speech. Stay tuned for more!
The new badges granted by His Majesty’s Heraldic Authority (L-R): 2 (Royal Reserves) Regiment, His Majesty’s Marines
His Majesty King Cameron I, with the approval of the Chief of the Defense Staff, His Honor Hayden Ford yesterday started the formation of 2 (Royal Reserves) Regiment. This regiment was formed as part of the ongoing recruitment effort to get more military officers. All reserve troops in the Army are attached to this regiment.
The Regiment is currently not manned by one commander besides the King, but is reporting to have one troop attached.
In other news, the Commandant General and Captain General, the Duke of Limiport and Sir Luis Sanchez respectively— have officialized the new badges, ranks, and a ceremonial flag for His Majesty’s Marines. The insignia sports a new red and gold colour scheme, with anchors, swords, crowns, and waves.

Lastly, the Armed Forces of Ikonia announced in the official Ikonian discord server that recruiting for all branches in the force are now open, and that a official website for all things relating to the force are to be created soon in collaboration with Reactive Solutions, the only software company in the country.
The King’s 2020 Christmas Speech was an historic event, as it was the first ever speech to be released by the Kingdom. It was also the most recent usage of the Ikonian Broadcasting company. The speech was recorded in the Royal Residence on the 24th.
“Greetings and merry Christmas to everyone.
Usually at this time of year people gather together, they make merry, and for a second time in as many months look back and appreciate the things they are given or the misfortunes they have avoided. However, this year is one in which those things are either unfortunately discouraged or simply such a monumental task to find anything to be thankful for.
In this year, we have all faced trials and tribulations, worries for our late and immediate futures, and stresses which we could have never imagined. It is that most discouraging and melancholic feeling which makes this Christmas and holiday season all the more important.
Despite our worries, and despite the attitude of the season being hindered, there still remains that one thing which is the source of our celebrations: love. When our friends and family are kept away from us by the limitations placed on them because of this tragedy which has stricken the whole Earth, we must remember our love for them and theirs for us.
Whenever in doubt, the assurance of love is one thing you can always hold to with gratitude. Further to that, however much of a cliche it may sound, love is the reason for the season.
To remind us of the love the Lord has for us, and to depart that love to our fellow man. But despite our circumstances I like to think and to use the words of Bob Hope, that ‘Christmas, whether old-fashioned or modern, is very simple: loving others. Come to think of it, why do we have to wait for Christmas to do that?’ In fact, in this coming year, let us all make up for the worries we suffered and let love of the present and not fear of the future keep us going.
Let us all make peace with our adversaries, break bread with the less fortunate, and be the light for those lost in darkness. So, may we raise our glasses to love and hope, wish each other a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. God bless us, God bless you and God bless Ikonia.”
The King also noted that Christmas honors were to be released on Christmas day to citizens and foreign leaders in other micronations.
Today on November 7th, His Majesty with collaboration with His Majesty’s Heraldic Authority have ratified the Codicem Heraldica Ikonius, a document that details and explains the heraldic laws foreigners and citizens must follow inside the Kingdom. Failure to do so can end up in a case from the Supreme Court of Ikonia.
This is the first article of legislation passed since the Idolas Act, marking a period of 2 months without legislation. The government has claimed it is slowly ramping up activity and working with His Majesty to create a codex of general law inside the Kingdom.
Established on 19 October 2018, Ikonia was founded on the principles of independence, liberty, and freedom. Today, the actual birthday of the Kingdom, was a more of an quiet affair, apart from the announcement on certain diplomatic venues, and broadcasts inside the Kingdom. In the office of the King, HM Cameron I, the flag was visited and inspected by the Royal Guards.

The Kingdom has yet again expanded yesterday evening with the annexation of a ranch in Brazos County, Texas.
A ranch in Texas has been annexed as a March through a proclamation of the Honorable Marquis Wilson.[1] Marches are now instated as a division that cannot be placed as a town nor a city, yet is associated with one due to elections in gubernatorial towns, etc.
The ranch, annexed as the March of Novaria, has been associated with the capital-city of Uvenia. It is inhabited and administered by Marquis Wilson and Charles Wilson, brother to the Marquis. This has raised the Ikonian population to 18.
Territorial decisions have commenced inside the Kingdom’s government, an our King, Cameron I, has made a final decision.
Mandates, and crown dependencies will turn into a dominion through the Affixed Dominion Act 2019. They must contact the Monarch within a month of becoming a Dominion.
Towns inside Uvenia are governed by the City council of Uvenia, a board of residents of the city.
Counties can now be setup in regions of Uvenia, and of subparts of Davenport, Florida, such as the newest one, Orange County, Uvenia.
The monarch of Ikonia, Cameron I, has started yet another council on the basis of HTML coding. Many people know HTML as website making.
Iota Psi Delta, is a micronational council for the progression of humans knowledge of HTML and the art of designing websites, and claims to have 2 members.
People can apply for Fellowship of the Council on their website, and the Secretary General, claim the applicants receive a certificate showing their dedication to the council. Fellows get the honorific prefix of FIPD.
The Order of the Heart, one of the most prestigious medals in the Ikonian Honours System has new knights.
One of the new knights, the monarch of Baustralia, John I stated, “The order is a great honour, and we hope that it further pushes the two Crowns closer together, and one day, mutual recognition shall be accomplished.”

Our King, in order to establish more environmental friendliness in micronations to get rid of pollution and to secure our earth’s prosperity, has founded, “The Missionar and Collective Council of Accentra“, usually just called “Accentra”.
Accentra is a collective body of representatives from nations coming to battle the environment issue and helps set up agencies for micronational environment protection. We invite all nations to apply and come join us in this journey. “Accentra, for a new environment”
